New rheumatoid arthritis documentary premieres on Community Channel

Inspiring programmes featuring rheumatoid arthritis are rare, so Community Channel’s new 30-minute documentary is a very welcome addition to the schedules.

Premiering Thursday, November 8, and repeated throughout the week, ‘What Can Science Do For Me’ follows artist and RA sufferer Debbie Grice as she meets some of the scientists leading the way in RA research.  She describes her artistic journey - the impact of her condition on her art and how she hopes to resurrect her career.  Much of the research featured in the programme is funded by the Arthritis Research Campaign.

Don’t miss this unique and engaging programme - part of a series of five episodes looking at different conditions - on Community Channel, an initiative of the Media Trust, a registered charity. The channel broadcasts on Sky 539, Virgin TV 233, and Freeview 87 (between 6 – 9 am).
