Growing pains are not the same as arthritis but they can be painful and worrying if you have them. This reassuring booklet for 5–10 year-olds is illustrated in full colour and describes how growing pains arise, what is known about the cause and how they are treated. The booklet follows three children through visits to the GP, hospital doctor and a physiotherapist.
