CD-ROM: Video clips for the JointZone website

This CD is intended for use in conjunction with the JointZone website (www.jointzone.org.uk) to give faster, high-definition playback of the video clips. Simply place it in the CD drive of your computer while you are using the website and select 'Play from CD' when running the video clips. Note for IT administrators: due to the size of the video files it contains, the CD is not recommended for use on network servers – therefore one copy of the CD will be needed for each individual computer user.

CD-ROM: Multimedia Challenges in Rheumatology

This interactive software package is designed primarily for use by medical students, although it may also be of interest to allied health professionals (or others) working in the field of musculoskeletal medicine. The double-CD pack uses a unique question-recognition interface and live video footage to allow students to practise their history-taking skills and learn more about rheumatology. Installation information: the software can be installed by the user onto a stand-alone PC, or by a network administrator into a local user account on a networked PC. System requirements: IBM-PC-compatible with Pentium processor or equivalent; Microsoft Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP; CD-ROM drive; Display resolution at least 800 x 600; Sound card and external speakers. Please note: because the video element of the package runs directly from the CD, one package will be needed for each user.

DVD: Musculoskeletal Ultrasound – A Beginner's Guide to Normal Peripheral Joint Anatomy

This DVD has been produced as an aid to rheumatologists and other musculoskeletal practitioners who wish to begin training in musculoskeletal ultrasound. It may also be of interest to medical students and others studying or working in a related area. The aim of the DVD is to allow the ultrasonographer to become familiar with the appearances of the standard scans in normal subjects as recommended by the EULAR Working Group for Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (www.sameint.it/eular/ultrasound).

DVD: Paediatric Gait, Arms, Legs, Spine (pGALS)

pGALS is a simple, quick and validated musculoskeletal screening tool for use in the assessment of the school-aged child. It has been developed from the adult GALS through consultation with doctors and therapists, most of whom are members of the British Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Rheumatology (BSPAR). The DVD demonstrates the pGALS screen and has been designed as an educational resource for medical students and their teachers. It may also be of interest to allied health professionals and others working in the field of musculoskeletal medicine.
