Human embryo and stem cell research 
The Arthritis Research Campaign (arc) does not currently fund any research that uses embryonic stem cells and all of our tissue engineering projects use adult stem cells. As a matter of principle, we would support the use of embryonic stem cells, as long as the research led to advances in the treatment of the rheumatic diseases.
